Notes :
| |
1. SRIS advises all
students to choose a Modern Language
and a Humanities subject though
these are not compulsory. |
| |
2. PE and
Games are compulsory
within the National Curriculum and students
cannot opt out of these sessions. |
| |
3. There is absolutely
no differentiation between GCSE/IGCSE
and '0' Levels.
These are accepted by all educational institutions
as being one and the same qualification. The
only differences are in the syllabus content
of the courses. |
| |
4. A 'C'
grade (or better) is considered as a pass
grade. |
| |
5. It may be possible
to add to the options programme for Year 10
and 11 students in the school activities programme
but this cannot be guaranteed. Equally, if
a student is entered for an examination early
(e.g. in Year 9 or 10) then her/his options
are naturally increased. |
