Teaching Staff
Teaching at SRIS
is a privilege and we have made sure that all
our teachers will contribute to providing your
children with an excellent all-round education.
All SRIS teachers are committed professionals. All U.K. trained staff have a university degree and a teaching qualification---this latter is usually a P.G.C.E. or equivalent which gives Qualified Teacher Status but in the E.A.L. Department this is more normally a T.E.F.L. qualification. U.K. staff have National Curriculum experience and Police Clearance from the Criminal Record Bureau.
A small minority of expatriate teachers may not be U.K. trained, but always have a degree and a teaching qualification from their home country.
Many have transferred from renowned independent
schools in the UK and/or British International
schools overseas.
SRIS intends to establish a reputation
