School Links

1.The school has links with several schools around the world: Springdales School in New Delhi, Colchester Sixth Form College in England, etc. and is actively pursuing links with other schools where exchanges could be of reciprocal interest. In the long run, we would like links with English medium schools around the world which teach Mandarin and have a strong sport and/or music and/or theatre tradition so that we share mutual interests and can have an exchange programme which benefits the students of both schools.
2. Tian Yuan Senior School. SRIS has an exchange and support programme in association with Tian Yuan School in Minhang. So far we have managed reciprocal concert arrangements, drama arrangements and some teachers and students from Tian Yuan have sat in on lessons in SRIS.
3. Links are currently being developed with Tian Yuan Junior School, Home Farm Primary School, Colchester and Kirkcaldy High School, Scotland. Mr A Flower, (Modern Languages) is exploring further school exchange opportunities.


Through the principal the school has particularly strong links with the University of Hull.
